Kids
June 13, 2010
Today as I walked along Bugis Junction, I saw – at the bus stop, an elderly with her young grandson (approx. 7 years old) sitting at the seat. I somehow felt my heart beats slower, felt touched when the grandson just took out his handphone, photographed his grandma and said: “Grandma, see? how does this look? you look great right? Come, let’s take a picture together…” Grandma shied away though.
And when I was about to board my incoming bus, the grandson switched on his ipod, (yes, his ipod) and Michael Jackson’s “Heal The World” was on! Then, he sang along with it. Kids nowadays, really up in technology. But what I was more surprised of, is that, kids are really expressive! Especially in today’s era.
“Are these two seats taken?” (with perfect English)
said a little Western girl with a smile (never fail with the eye contact)
And there I was gesturing and saying, yes, Go Ahead~

Wednesday (spirituality)
March 10, 2010
It is a strange day to talk about spirituality. Don’t you think so? Especially when it comes from me who is still on the learning wheel. <STRANGE> But today, I gonna talk about Prayer – my first testimony.
Last week, days before my law mid-term test, I can’t really concentrate and focus due to much distractions such as facebook, youtube, and few other things. But, after a few minutes, H messaged me, which goes along the line of “Hi Fletcher, you can try this prayer. Who knows it might work out for you. <God, please give me strength so that I can shine for you>”. Well, of course I didn’t do that straight away. But after having difficulty concentrating…I prayed. At first when I said it in prayer, I felt awkward and wierd.
So I said it three times to sort of boost the authenticity of the prayer. *Well, I hope so. And so, perhaps the “feeling better attitude” then kicked in. And in a way, I gained momentum to study for law.
At the day of the law mid-term test, I believe that in a way the “feel good factor” about the prayer, somehow helped in trying to understand what revolves around law. Thus, the process of persevering to study helped me during the test. I am aiming for a credit for the test, ultimately distinction for the course. So, hopefully, it went well. (Although I forgot some of the cases to support my answers) But at least I got the framework on tackling law essay questions right.
Well, the point that I am trying to convey is that, the feeling of being watch upon, being guide along with direction and purpose, perhaps allow us to improve as a person. Maybe spirituality do come in handy during time of helplessness. In this case – Prayer for my law mid-term test.

H-U-N-G-E-R kicks in…What to eat, What to eat, What to eat?
Is there any recommendations? What I can think of now is some normal foodies. Chicken salad perhaps? Or eat something with more carbo?
That’s beside the point. But I do really wonder how bloggers find time to write really quality blogs when they are busy, tired and *hungry. ha~ anyway, off to scout for food now. LaterS!

How’s monday to me
March 8, 2010
So far so good. Waking up at 11 am seems like a good life. After which an hour later, had a group meeting at PSB academy reading room to get marketing project’s slides framework ready. Nothing strange happening today, just that my whole body, it seems like it never really fully fit.
Nevertheless, the gym somehow helped to get me going into the flow. The flow in which my hunger kicked in just 15 minutes after the gym. Had chicken salad for the night. It turned out pretty good!
But the thing is…barely half an hour has passed and I feel that I think there would be supper time~! Well, I am loving it though. haha
Have great day guys
Especially on Monday

Saturday and Sunday (Start from the first step again)
March 7, 2010
Saturday was a busy day for me. I guess I need to manage my time better to screw in the possible timing for blogging. I was out almost for the whole day. But the STRANGE thing is that I forgot that I need to post yesterday. That’s the interesting part.
It should have been like this: Reached home by 3 pm after my law test, then write a post. then off to city harvest church by 4.30 (hopped into my friend’s car, if not, it would be a long journey to expo from queenstown mrt). But it didn’t happen that way. Instead, I napped for a while, played castle age and went for late lunch.
Overall, saturday was a great day though. Managed to socialize more, know the cell group members more and make self more comfortable. At least I learned this lame joke at the spot when my friends were talking about mrt. I said: Which mrt station in Singapore is the most colourful!? Everybody was blanked out. It is REDhill mrt station! Being the only so called “colored” hill in Singapore, made the mrt the most colorful. =)
As for Sunday, everything goes by pretty smoothly as of now. Strange thing is that after 11.10am right now, even though my stomach is calling me to have brunch now, I didn’t. I would like to finish this post before heading for a well-deserved meal. Haha. Anyway, I think it’s time for me to sign out. Guys, Have a good Sunday! And hope Saturday was well to you as well!
Heading for Lunch

Strange Friday…
March 5, 2010
24 hours in a day. Why do I find it strange that I don’t have much time to complete my law studies? Or it simply down to my productivity?
Tomorrow is my law mid-term test. With all literatures and case studies to remember…inhale…exhale…Come on, I can do it! With maybe, a few more drops of sweat and an hour of focus…ok. Go Go Go!

Thursday, anything strange?
March 4, 2010
Everything was normal today. School started at 10am, lunch at 12, tutorial at 1.30pm. Except, the food. My friends and I ate at Tiong Bahru market (Singapore) and had prawn mee. It was pretty delicious to me and it only cost $3.
Today, I will be bringing cousin’s bible to my cell group meeting which would be held at friend’s house. It will be my first time taking a bible along with me. I feel proud of myself in terms of “seeking” for the bible but well…weird at the same time as I never really touch or even look at the content before, but, as long as I can find my passion and answers to my personal growth, I will keep doing what I am doing right now in terms studying, blogging, health by doing sports and many more.
Lastly, I hope that going to the cell group and going to city harvest church would help me in one way of another to gain everything which varies from internal and external boost.
P.S. Thanks cousin for the Student Bible. Haha~
Hope that it would be an awesome day today for all of us!

What’s strange?
March 3, 2010
After four months of not writing anything on my blog. The feeling of getting back into writing is a bit weird. However, I hope that this small step will help me find my passion.
Why do I write? There are tons of reasons why. Three of them being, to write well, to make people be able to visualize the things that I write and in the hope that writing well will catapult me in the N.O.W. challenging society.
Now that I am into the second term of my school (Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing and Management) with impending exams on the April, I hope Nablopomo March writings will gear me up with writing, focusing and disciplining myself and set me up on the right path in getting decent grades.

It has been different – Last Thursday To Today’s Sunday
November 22, 2009
It has been a great week so far. Tasting of friend’s homemade cup cake, pizza to outings till late at night and supper at Xin Wang and MacDonald. The cupcake was a little bit too sweet for me, however, the people who have tasted it, they were wowed by it. As for the pizza, I have always loved home cooked food, so the moment I chewed on it, I felt so young again and it reminded me of the days where I still bring along my homemade “bento” to school. Fried rice and indomie….Ahh….Simply Heaven!
As for the outings, it has been a long long time since I had supper at River Valley <The Spize> Mostly famous for its Indian foodies. Ate so so much after a 2012 movie and The Cathay near Plaza Singapura. Another Heavenly feeling! <Special Thanks for the Tickets BC!> and others for the companion. Woohoo~~~
Then Bugis came along, the most memorable one was a try out at a….if I’m not wrong the dessert store is called…Ah Chew? or some sort. I had this mango sago. A little too sweet, but the feeling of being there with friend, chit chatting, and a slow walk at night…was great!
The Vivo days were fulfilling as well, had carl’s junior for lunch, and I still remembered vividly that we walked and walked, talked and talked so nonchalantly that I forgot about the timing. (Oooo yea…it has been quite some time since I forget about timing) Perhaps not wearing a watch…is a good idea sometimes. LoL~
And the lists go on and on, Jurong east, clementi, marian square was all fun. Will not go into much details. But well, basically, hunting of comic books was pretty much included in the outings. Hahaha. And again, I missed the way I collected anime, manga and drama cds. But all these were “granted” as I spent some $$$ to re-ignite the “Anime,Manga,Drama Freak” in me for at least till today. Ohh yah, and the Anime Festival Asia 09…was fun too although I didn’t get in to the show. But well…the glimpse of avid cosplayers was good enough. Good Job Guys!
However, with 18 days prior to my examination, I seriously need to FOCUS! Yes, Focus!

Having the Right Mindset to everything
November 15, 2009
I never believe that being alone in some of the days, doing things at your own pace can be really nice, until today. From waking up in the morning, with no expectation, I spent an hour in front of computer checking facebook, to having an early lunch at Koufu food court at the Anchorage along with my mac, playing Bon Jovi’s songs. That was totally one of the best feeling of undisturbed moments I have ever had. Lunch was Yong Tau Foo. It was a great feeling to start off the day with a sort of…more healthy food, i guess.
Next, I changed my seating to kopi alley where I read a chapter off Why Mars & Venus Collide. I realised that sometimes, i failed to focus on readings and at the end of the day, I don’t even know what is the moral of the story. But, it was different this afternoon. I dedicated an hour and fifteen minutes to read just a chapter (The 90/10 solution). I literally read word for word. Slow…breathing in and out…slow…everything was slow in that particular timing.
I felt that the chapter on 90/10 solution is really a wake up call to me on how to maintain and maximise the potential of a good relationship. I will quotes the bits and pieces of which 100 ways a man can raise a woman’s oxytocin levels in the next few paragraphs. p.s. I really read word for word and imagine: if I were to do this in my past relationships, I would be a better partner and have a better understanding in what LOVE is. As quoted from a friend: “Love isn’t much about sacrificing. It’s about adjusting yourself to your beloved partner.” Let it flow naturally and be yourself.
Although LOVE is unpredictable and it varies from a person to another person, I think the 90/10 solution can be something worth pondering about. Here you go, the 100 ways a man can raise a woman’s oxytocin levels (Some might not be applicable, but worth knowing) I hope this helps in one way or another:
